General Information

Established in 1903 the Monmouth Fire Department operates out of two stations in the towns of Monmouth and North Monmouth, Maine. We serve these towns as well as provide mutual aid to area towns such as Wales, Leeds, Litchfield, Greene and Winthrop. We currently have four engines, two tankers and a forestry unit for accessing woods fires.

The Monmouth Fire Department is a volunteer organization comprised of town residents. We meet on a weekly basis to train and make sure that we are providing the best protection for the town.

MFD's Annual Outing is on July 26th!
